Work at The Well

God has given us a big vision for The Well, which you will discover as you browse our site. Our prayer has been, from day-one, that The Well would be known as a place of authenticity, community and ultimately a place where lives are changed week after week by the grace of God. If you love Jesus, love people, and want to contribute towards building God’s Kingdom on earth, we want to speak with you.

WE GIVE ONLY OUR BEST

As good stewards of what God has given us, we are a team who serves Him with all that we  are and as if He were in the room. We believe in doing the very best for God in every aspect  of our lives and ministries. God’s people and facilities should be a reflection of the God of excellence whom we serve.

WE SERVE BECAUSE HE SERVED

We are loved by Jesus, and serve with a mindset that is others-focused and outward-focused. We will actively and practically love others by serving the ONE before we serve ourselves. We are loved by Jesus, and we serve others in response.

WE SEE THE BIG PICTURE

We are not divided by teams. We are one team, serving in several areas, to create a place  where people find and experience Jesus. 

Because our heart is to serve the ONE, our station and position aren’t relevant, therefore we  stay flexible in all we do, willing to cover wherever and whenever. We set our preferences  aside and embrace adaptability. We understand because we are flexible, that there are always others God is growing into their gifts and purpose, so we make room and hold loosely our position.

WE CLAIM OWNERSHIP

Owners treasure what is theirs. When we claim ownership of The Well as more than a church  we attend, but as our home, we willingly invest. Ownership asks us to actively take part and  add continued value to what is ours. As owners, we are always willing to bring others into the big picture to teach, train, and grow people.

WE HONOR EVERYONE

We add value to one another by honoring each other. Honor is meant for those who lead us,  those who serve alongside us, and those we serve. We celebrate one another’s wins and  do not envy someone else’s success. We collectively win when an individual wins. Punctuality  is a form of honor, and we will strive to always be on time.

WE ASSUME THE BEST

Because we are all on the same team, serving the same mission, we will assume the best of  one another. This means we choose to be unoffendable, we bring our troubles to each other,  and we reconcile our hurts.

WE VALUE CHARACTER, CONSISTENCY, AND INTEGRITY

We are all on a journey, it is one where we continue to work to become like Jesus. As we do  so, we understand that character, consistency, and integrity are all aspects of who Jesus was.  In that, we commit to leading our lives in the same way He did. No matter what situation  we find ourselves in, we want others to see Jesus reflected in us.

WE EXUDE A JOYFUL DISPOSITION

When we keep the mission first, understanding everything we do is for the purpose of  pointing everyONE to Jesus, we serve from a place of joy with a positive attitude. Knowing  why we serve is shaped by Him and what He’s done for us, we can show up entrusting Him  with our every need while we willingly, wholeheartedly and selflessly serve the ONE.

WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND

With all that we are, we do our best to make a way to serve those around us. We are committed to being contagiously generous in all we do. Therefore, we give of our time, resource,  and energy to bring others to Jesus.
